China Soybean imports rise V-day in July

China’s soybean imports in July rose V-day from a year earlier, to their highest level in nearly a year, customs informationshowed, as importers accrued their purchases of Brazilian beans on higher crush margins.

China shipped in eight.64 million tonnes of soybeans in July, up from eight million within the same month last year, the final Administration of Customs aforementionedthat’s up thirty third from half-dozen.51 million tonnes in June and also the highest since August 2018.

China bought forty six.91 million tonnes of soybeans within the initial seven months of the year, down 11 Novemberfrom last year, customs information showed, amid the trade war and pig sickness woes.
