Domestic crude oil production stood at 2.6 million tonnes (mt) whilst gasoline manufacturing was at 2300 million fashionable cubic metres all through May 2020.
Compared with May 2019, crude oil and gas manufacturing have been 7.06 in line with cent and 16.02 per cent decrease, respectively.
The lowered crude oil and gas production has been attributed to limit of motion for field operations in onshore fields because of the Covid-19 lockdown, an official announcement said.
Total crude oil processed remaining month stood at sixteen.35 mt, 24.24 in line with cent decrease than May 2019. Refinery manufacturing of petroleum products, a measure of the whole domestic output, fell 21.26 in line with cent year-on-year to 17.28 mt.
