India imported 2.78 million tonnes (mt) of foodgrains well worth $1.214 billion in 2018-19 towards 7.Fifty two mt with a fee of $3.342 billion within the preceding 12 months, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said in Parliament.
