Demand for Indian rice in overseas markets slowed as export fees of the commodity rose to their highest stage in greater than seven months as the rupee favored.

India’s 5 percent damaged parboiled variety was quoted round $392-$395 in line with tonne this week, up from $386-$389 remaining week.

The Indian rupee became buying and selling near its highest degree in seven months, trimming returns from foreign places sales for investors within the world’s largest rice exporter.

Meanwhile, in Vietnam, fees for five percentage damaged rice have been consistent with closing week’s $360 a tonne.

Thai benchmark five percentage broken rice charges have been quoted at $390-$393, unfastened on board Bangkok, on Thursday, up from $380-$385 ultimate week.
