Malaysia keeps Feb Crude Palm Oil export tax at 0%

Malaysia stored its export tax on crude palm oil for February at 0%, industry body Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) said in a notification.

The tax has been at 0% when you consider that September.

Malaysia, the world’s 2nd-largest manufacturer of palm oil, calculated a palm oil reference fee of RM1,904.Forty four (US$463.48) in step with tonne for February. Any fee above RM2,250 incurs a tax.

Exports of Malaysian palm oil products for Jan 1-15 rose 17.Zero% to 615,565 tonnes from 525,939 tonnes shipped at some stage in Dec 1-15, in line with shipment surveyor Intertek Testing Services (ITS).
