MCX has witnessed the transport of 70 tonnes of rubber within the expiry of the primary-ever futures agreement settled on Tuesday.
The trade released the primary Rubber contract on December 28 with January 2021 expiry as its first-month contract.
Currently, rubber contracts expiring in February to June are to be had for buying and selling.
The inventory role of Rubber at the MCX platform is 114.36 tonnes, with deposits of some other 30 tonnes in method.
Rishi Nathany, Head, Business Development, MCX stated the market participants have properly-widely wide-spread the settlement and the trade will preserve its efforts to grow consciousness on the advantages of hedging.
