The Tea Board of India has cancelled the licence of 24 customer gadgets in South India for various violations.
“We had issued show purpose notices to forty six consumer devices throughout the Southern states looking for their reason behind non submission of the mandatory quarterly returns in Form F as this is violation of diverse provisions of the relevant law,” Tea Board Executive Director Dr M Balaji said.
As 24 of them did now not reply, 2nd set of Notices have been issued to them to provide possibility of being heard, he said.
After precise enquiry and verification, their licences had been ordered to be cancelled, he disclosed.
