Arrivals and prices of spot turmeric to the markets in Erode decreased on Monday.“Arrivals reduced to 2,a hundred and ten baggage and on an average 60 according to cent was sold,” stated RKV Ravishankar, President, Erode Turmeric Merchants Association.
At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association, finger turmeric was bought at ₹5,229-6,529 a quintal, root variety was sold at ₹4,691-5,884. Of the 1,three hundred bags of turmeric saved for sale, handiest 523 were sold.
