Ashok Leyland bagged an order for 1,282 completely built buses from Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC). This order, certainly one of the largest from a State Transport Undertaking for a unmarried OEM, will make a contribution to strengthening Ashok Leyland’s dominant function in the Indian bus marketplace.
Under the phrases of the order, Ashok Leyland will deliver fifty five-seater fully assembled BS VI diesel buses in a phased way. These buses are designed to provide super passenger comfort and could feature the advanced iGen6 BS VI generation, presenting a strong 147 kW (197 hp) H-series engine, which in turn shall decorate protection and comfort, and decrease the general fee of possession (TCO).
