Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has entered into an extended-time period Technology License Agreement (TLA) with Sumitomo SHI FW, Finland (SFW) for layout, engineering, manufacturing, erection, commissioning and sale of subcritical in addition to supercritical Circulating Fluidised Bed Combustion (CFBC) Boilers in India and in overseas territories besides select international locations.
The settlement became signed by means of Mr. Jai Prakash Srivastava, Director (Engineering, Research & Development), BHEL and Mr. Asif Hussain, Sr. Vice President (Licensing, Strategy & Business Development), SFW, within the presence of Dr. Nalin Shinghal, CMD, BHEL and purposeful Directors on the Board of BHEL.
The TLA with SFW will reinforce BHEL’s complete talents to cater to electricity plant requirements assembly extant emission norms and contribute to the Government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative.
