IRB Infrastructure Developers has been presented the distinguished Mumbai-Pune Expressway assignment beneath the Toll-Operate-Toll (TOT) version. It has acquired a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the nodal agency, Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC).
The concession consists of collection of toll and operation and protection (O&M) activities on Mumbai Pune Expressway and Old Mumbai-Pune Highway NH-48 for a concession span of 10 years and 2 months, i.E., up to 30 April 2030.
IRB to pay upfront Rs. 6500 crore and a further staggered price of Rs. 850 crore in yr 2, Rs. 850 crore in year 3 and Rs. Sixty two crore in yr 4, aggregating to Rs. Eight,262 crore for Sub-Concession Period of 10 years and a couple of months.
It will take possession of the undertaking w.E.F. March 01, 2020 and begin tolling and O&M sports.
The corporation, as a concessionaire of the MSRDC, will abide via the person fees notifications issued by using the MSRDC, that is a part of concession settlement.
