Reliance Industries Ltd (“RIL”) and Jio Platforms Ltd (“Jio Platforms”), has announced that Qualcomm Ventures, the investment arm of Qualcomm Incorporated, an industry chief in wi-fi technologies, has devoted to invest upto Rs. 730 crore in Jio Platforms at an equity fee of Rs. 4.91 lakh crore and an business enterprise price of Rs. Five.Sixteen lakh crore. Qualcomm Ventures’ funding will translate into zero.15% equity stake in Jio Platforms on a fully diluted foundation. The funding will deepen the ties among Qualcomm and Jio Platforms, to assist Jio Platforms on its journey to rollout superior 5G infrastructure and services for Indian clients.
