L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering Ltd (LTHE), an entirely owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro (L&T), has won twin orders from Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).

The Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning (EPCIC) contracts presented are for:

1. Development of Heera Panna Block of Western Offshore basin that is located about 70 km of South West of Mumbai High. Project consists of two nicely head platforms, -49km subsea rigid pipelines, 10 nos. Of riser set up and amendment work at seven existing systems and Heera Process Complex.

2. Development of Mumbai High South subject of Western Offshore basin which is positioned approximately 210 km to the West of Mumbai metropolis. Project consists of one Water Injection Process systems bridge related to present WIS platform,a hundred men Living Quarter, change and interconnection of all of the utilities with current WIS, BHS, SLQ platforms.

Above contracts had been awarded thru international aggressive bidding on a Lump Sum Turn Key (LSTK) basis. This award reposes ONGC’s self assurance in LTHE’s EPCIC capabilities and LTHE’s commitment to hold to assist ONGC and make a contribution to India’s strength security.
