L&T’s Power Transmission & Distribution Business has won a prestigious bundle to set up transmission lines and substations associated with a first-rate infrastructure project in Telangana. The scope of the bundle involves setting up 3 new 400 kV Substations with Reactors, related bay extensions at linked substations and more than 170 km of 400 kV Transmission Links, on a turnkey foundation.

Another order has been secured from Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd to offer Electrical & Mechanical Systems for 2 tunnels in the Katra Dharam segment of the Udhampur Srinagar Baramulla rail hyperlink project. The scope of the bundle involves 33 kV & eleven kV HT energy cable network, GIS substation, DG units, tunnel lights, ventilation & firefighting systems, and SCADA machine.
