Power Grid Corporation of India has been declared as successful bidder under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding to set up Inter-State Transmission System Project particularly “Transmission machine for evacuation of electricity from REZ in Rajasthan (20 GW) below Phase-III Part C1” on Build, Own Operate and Transfer (BOOT) foundation. The Letter of Intent (LoI) has been received via Power Grid Corporation of India Limited on eleventh September, 2023.
The assignment comprises status quo of a brand new 765/400kV substation along side STATCOM at Ramgarh, 765kV D/C Transmission Line and related bays extension
works at other present substation within the country of Rajasthan.
