Tata Power bags empanelment for eighty four MW rooftop solar initiatives

Tata Power has been empanelled and gained a settlement well worth Rs. 400 crore from the Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd (KSEBL) on 2d July, 2021 to develop sixty four MW sun rooftop undertaking for domestic consumers across all districts of Kerala.

As part of this settlement, the organisation will put in force initiatives thru KSEBL of 80MW for man or woman families with sun capacity ranging from 3kW – 10kW) and for 20 MW of residential / housing society with tasks (sun capacity starting from 11kW – 100kW).

The employer has received this capacity in a bid announced by KSEBL in Feb 2021 beneath the ‘Soura Subsidy Scheme in Domestic Sector’, Kerala, consistent with the Phase II Subsidy Programme of the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy. The assignment needs to be commissioned within three months of receipt of an order from man or woman residential clients. Besides rooftop, the corporation had in advance received a Letter of Award from KSEBL on 6th January 2021 to expand a a hundred and ten MW sun project which
is expected to generate approximately 274 MUs of energy in line with year.

Upon final touch of this 84MW of sun rooftop undertaking, it is expected to generate 120 MUs of energy according to yr and will yearly offset about a hundred Million Kg of CO2.
