Tata Power, India’s largest included electricity employer introduced that Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL), the Company’s thoroughly owned subsidiary, has obtained a Letter of Award from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL) to broaden a 100 MW sun task in Maharashtra.
The strength can be furnished to MSEDCL beneath a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), legitimate for a period of 25 years from scheduled commercial operation date. The Company has received this capacity in a bid announced with the aid of MSEDCL below Phase V dated December 2019. The project is needed to be commissioned within 18 months from the date of execution of the PPA.
