Va Tech Wabag secured an order well worth approximately USD one hundred Million toward engineering and procurement sports when it comes to 120 Million Gallons Per Day (MiGD) Hassyan Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (‘SWRO’) in the United Arab Emirates (`UAE’). The order was secured from Green EPC (a Utico FZC subsidiary) who’s the top EPC contractor for this project.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (‘DEWA’) decided on Utico FZC as the desired bidder to construct the SWRO plant and perform it over a period of 35 years,
below the Independent Water Producer (`IWP’) version, wherein DEWA will off-take a hundred% of water from this plant. The desalination plant is planned to be commissioned in levels via March 2024 and shall be the most important IWP in Dubai.

The venture is in the course of Dubai’s Clean Energy Strategy 2050 initiative to maximize use of green electricity for manufacturing of desalinated water and goals at
